Billy Thompson Vandeventer

For 26 years, Billy Thompson Vandeventer dedicated her time and attention to the students of Frisco ISD. For 16 years, she taught fourth grade at Ackers and Rodgers elementary schools, and for 10 years served as a math teacher at Frisco and Staley middle schools. Mrs. Vandeventer has been a long term Frisco resident and student. Before her career in education, she was Frisco High School's valedictorian in 1961.

Vandeventer Middle School was dedicated to Mrs. Vandeventer in 2015 to recognize the decades of service given to FISD.
