Lieut. George A. Forsyth

"Born October 5, 1896, at McKinney. His early education was received in A. & M. College, at College Station, Texas. Entered Fourth Officers' Training School at Camp MacArthur, Waco, in May, 1918, and was later sent to Camp Zachary Taylor, Ky., where he was commissioned Second Lieutenant. He was sent to Camp Zachary Taylor to Fort Still, Okla., and placed with Artillery Fire School in 14th Field Artillery. He was at Fort Sill when armistice was signed."
