Kimberly Sanchez, left in photo, is one of the founders of the local business The Sanchez Group that specializes in "creating high quality, sustainable communities." The Sanchez Group is the current ongoing sponsor of the nonprofit The Little Free Pantry here in McKinney.
The Little Free Pantry's mission is to share the "share the overwhelming abundance in Collin County with those in need in our community". There are rules or stipulations for who receives this assistance in the hopes that those who need help can freely access what they need.
In recognition of the work Mrs. Sanchez has put in with The Little Free Pantry, she received the Quality of Life Award from the McKinney Community Development Corporation in 2021.
