"Captain George R. Morris, Jr. graduated from Boyd High School. Attended A. & M. and N.T.S.T.C., Denton. Was commissioned at Lake Charles. Became an instructor at Waco Army Air Field. Later taught at Goodfellow Field, San Angelo two and one-half years. Now at Winfield, Kansas, training in P-47 Thunderbolts."
