"Pfc. Glenn R. Kerby, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Kerby, McKinney, graduate of Boyd High School, entered the Army Jan. 1942. Overseas Jan. 1944 with the 113th Cav. Rcn. Sq. 1st Army. Later transferred to the 9th Army. Went through France, Belgium, Holland, was in Germany V-E Day."
