"Cpl. Lewis F. Foster, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. F. Foster, McKinney. Graduate of McKinney High School. Entered service July, 1941. Trained at Chanute Field, Ill., as airplane mechanic. Went overseas with Medical Corps to England. Served 2 years and 4 months in England. Crossed Channel with the 1915th Ord AM Co AVN into France where he is now serving."
