"Cpl. Raymond G. Beldon, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Beldon, wife of Mrs. Tee Sneed Beldon. A graduate of McKinney High School. Entered Army May, 1943. In the Ordnance, Division. Received Basic Training at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. Later stationed at Red River Ord. Training Center, Texarkana, Texas. Leaving for overseas, November 1944. Landed in England and is now in France."
