"Cpl. George A. Wilson, born May 30, 1897, at McKinney, received his education from the public school there. Son of Mrs. T. M. Wilson of that city. Entered service May 2(x), 1918, assigned to M. G. Co., 135th Inf., 34th Division, and trained at Camp Cody, New Mexico, from May 27, 1918 until October 13th, when he sailed for France. Upon arrival his company was broken up and he was assigned to duty in Provost Marshal's office at Paris, doing clerical work."
