Pvt. Randolph P. Smith

"Pvt. Randolph P. Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Smith of McKinney, was born September 4, 1899, and received his education in the schools there. In April, 1917 he volunteered in Burrus Rifles of McKinney, Co. M, 4th Texas Inf., T. N. G., but soon after this organization was federalized he was discharged on account of physical disability. Though he was denied the privilege of overseas duty he was anxious to serve his country."
