"Second Lieut. Jack W. Bristol was born March 14, 1896 at McKinney. Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bristol. He entered service in June, 1917. Was assigned to 44th Co., 11th Recruiting Bn., at Camp Pike, Arkansas, and served as supply officer.He was at Camp Pike when armistice was signed."
