The senior parade float proudly predicts the Lions will be "Steppin' back to State".

With a lion perched atop a throne, this parade float says to "Condemn the Cougars".

"For the homecoming pep rally an football game, the cheerleaders prepared a sign to fit between the goal posts. The sign expressed the student body's good wishes to the team and coaches -- 'Go Lions!'"

The floats for the Homecoming parade in 1981 had creative ways to encourage the team to win. Messages included, "Step up to success," "Boot Bonham," "Chew the Warriors," "Blast Bonham," and "Capsize the Warriors."
