"Pvt. L. Eugene Mallow, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Mallow of McKinney. Born November 16, 1896, near Frisco and received his education in the schools of McKinney. Entered service August 26, 1918, and was sent to Camp Travis for training. He was attached to the 18th Division and asigned to do clerical work in the office of the Base Hospital. He served in his capacity until discharged, February 16, 1919."
